Grant money will be used for:

• Construction of a secure entry vestibule, enhanced access control systems and relocated main office for natural lines of sight
• Installation of a full fire sprinkler system and replacement of the outdated fire alarm system
• Abatement of asbestos
• ADA code compliance, specifically in restrooms, locker rooms
• Elevator access to the lower-level gym, which solves a safety issue in that medical stretchers cannot currently travel between levels with an injured or sick person
• Replacement of original mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Exterior window and door replacement to enhance building security and envelope performance
• New ceilings throughout and replacement of operable partitions to improve acoustics in and between learning environments.
