I joined the West Grand School District in July of 2014. I grew up in Collbran and graduated from Plateau Valley High School. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Western State College in Gunnison. University of Phoenix in Colorado Springs is where I received my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Superintendent Preparation Program/Licensure at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
I began my career in Holly, CO and then spent 9 years in Springfield as a teacher/coach/AD.
My first administrative job was in Iliff, CO where I was the K-12 principal at Caliche Schools. After spending one year in Wiggins as the 7-12 principal, I moved back to Springfield to assume the role of Superintendent of Schools in 2005. I also served as Elementary Principal before accepting the job here. It is so nice to be surrounded by a great group of people that value educating the children of this district.
My wife, Shona, is a Registered Nurse. We have two boys, Tanner, who is 23 and works in the oil industry in the Texas Panhandle; andTayte, 19, who is a freshman at CSU-Pueblo. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, traveling and going to Folsom Field to watch the Buffs.

I am excited to be at the high school working with a great staff to give the students a awesome education.
I love to hunt and fish that is one of the reasons I have continued to stay in this community. I have great respect for all the parents and community members and think Kremmling is a wonderful place to raise a family.
Ms. Clark • Administrative Assistant
I have been a part of the West Grand Staff for the past 20 years. During that time, I’ve held a couple of positions over the years including Special Education Paraprofessional, Administrative Assistant for the middle school and currently I have been the Administrative Assistant for the high school for the past 5 years. I enjoy being around the kids and watching them grow as they head towards adulthood.
My husband Bill and I have 3 grown children, who attended West Grand Schools from Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
During my free time, I enjoy being with my family and hanging out with my grandbabies both human and canine. I also enjoy being outside, reading, variety of crafting pursuits and a variety of DIY projects (with my husband’s assistance of course)!
